“On a cold, winter night in NYC, nothing warms me up like a piece of Sweet Home a la Hannah’s carrot cake! The orange flavor in the cream cheese frosting and the sweet pineapple chunks give me the citrus taste I crave in the middle of January. I’ve been a big fan of her confections for years — both gluten-ous and gluten-free — and the cakes are so moist I can rarely tell the difference between the two! A huge sucker for any chocolate peanut butter combination, my favorite is the pretzel peanut butter frosting. I’m hoping she comes out with more cake variations with this frosting soon.”

“I don’t always eat cake. But when I do, I eat cakes by Sweet Home a la Hannah. Because her cakes are delicious, moist and full of subtle flavors that make even someone with absolutely no sweet tooth like me crave them. Is that molasses or crack in the icing? I don’t know and I don’t care. Just give me more cake.”

“Sweet Home cakes are like heaven, if heaven is full of salted caramel angels and chocolate hallelujahs. They are thoughtful, unique, and truly out of this world. Sweet Home cakes should even be considered healthy because they make you so damn happy. ”
-Christin M., New York, NY
“What these cakes lack in gaudiness, they make up for in magic. I ate my body weight in cake, and instead of the self loathing that would normally follow such a feat, I could only feel the love that this beautiful soul put into each and every bite. When I get married this year, there won’t be a sit down dinner or hors d’oeuvres or anything like that. Just cakes by Sweet Home a la Hannah!”

“Sweet Home a la Hannah is created by a best friend of mine. Not only does she care about her friends a great deal, but she infuses charm, wit and care into everything she does. Eating cakes means sharing moments of celebration with the people you love, and my friend, Hannah does that effortlessly. As an Art Director at Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, I look forward to how she will infuse joy into people’s celebrations of life.”
-Genevieve P., New York, NY
“When I was done eating her chocolate cake I wanted to puke it up and eat it again, because it was so good I am confident even regurgitated it would taste better than 98% of cakes on the market.”
-Dave K., Queens, NY
“We hired Sweet Home a la Hannah for my father’s bris (he’s a late convert), and the cakes absolutely made the day. Most of the men in attendance lost their appetite early on at the party, but everybody had second helpings of the delicious carrot cake. And we’re not an easy family to cook for; my mother is celiac, my sister is vegan, and my uncle is arachnophobic. Luckily, everybody was so busy stuffing themselves with Hannah’s cake that they didn’t realize that my mother used the mohel’s knife to serve the pie.”
